The BrainThe human brain is divided down the middle into two halves, also called hemispheres. There are similarities and differences in the two sides, as well as aspects that they have in common, however, they also each have different characteristics. The structure connecting them, the corpus collosum, enables the two sides to communicate. The infant brain developing and changing is called plasticity, and the human brain continues to develop until age 25.
